I absolutely cannot believe this product. We had no expectation that it would solve our slippery tile problem For the price we figured it was worth trying it before tearing up the shower floor and replacing with new tiles. What s solution!! It worked beyond our wildeat hopes. The shower floor is not slippery at all even with the very slimy hair conditioner that I use on a daily basis. And it was very easy to apply unlike the other product that I had previously about which I had read. I have been recommended it to many people with whom I come in contact. Everyone should use it.

I treated a ceramic tile outdoor balcony that was regularly covered in sea-mist or dew. This think was a skating rink when even mildly damp. Now I think it seems safer to walk on while wet than dry thanks to Johnny Grip. I did have some problems applying using the sponge mop method, mostly with drips, but I think a hand held tank sprayer might work well in this application, if I ever need to do another large area. Great product, highly recommended.

The tile in our shower was so slippery when it got wet that it was really an accident waiting to happen. I had tried another product that essentially made the surface rough, but it peeled off after about two months - leaving us with the slippery tile again. I tried sanding a tile sample to see if that would help, but the tile is too hard. Finally, I googled "slippery tile," and found the Johnny Grip website. The reviews were helpful, and I ordered the 16 oz. size to try on the tile. I used a paint roller with a long handle and kept it wet for about 20+ minutes. Then I rinsed it off. The next time in the shower, I was really amazed that the surface was absolutely not slippery, nor was it rough. It's been several weeks since applying it, and it is still working. I will definitely order more to apply to the slippery tile in our patio. I would recommend Johnny Grip to anyone with slippery tiles.

Our Kitchen floor was become a huge hazard for us and our guest. Any amount of water on it, and we would slip, sometimes going all the way down but most often just slipping and causing injury to our backs. We were not sure at first if we liked the product and what it did to our tile, however after mopping it a second time, we can not tell a difference, and the floor seems to have more grip. No one has slipped and fallen since applying.

I had a 300 sq. ft. lanai tiled with porcelain tile. After "crashing" on it a couple of times from being wet (pool) I decided to check online for a solution that wouldn't ruin or cover up the tile finish. I followed the instructions and ended up letting the Johhny Grip set for 30 minutes, althewhile keeping it wet with a sponge floor mop. After rinsing it off with water and running a towel over it and letting it dry, I tried it out. Outstanding results. The slipperies are gone and I'm totally amazed. Worth every bit of the cost of the bottle. The 1 gal jug said it would cover up to 400 sq ft and my lanai was 300 sq ft. I only ended up using 2/3rds of the bottle.

It works!
I searched several local tile stores and the only ones that offered a "slip solution", wanted at least, a couple hundred bucks (per shower) to make them non-slip. I thought I would try Johnny grip 1st, I'm totally satisfied.

Unfortunately this product did not work for us. We applied the first time, following all instructions, and let it "work" on tile for 15 minutes. The test site did not show much improvement at 10 minutes so I thought would leave it on a bit longer when applied to main area. After having no results with "slipperiness" of the pool cabana tile (ceramic) that it was applied to, I reapplied a few weeks later this time allowing the product to "work" for 30 minutes on the tile. Once again, unfortunately, the tile remains very slippery. I am very disappointed as we have very poor other options for this frequently wet surface.

My experience was less than successful I'm afraid; Though I'm sure it was merely due to my lack of information. I treated my old claw foot porcelain tub, following the instructions to the letter. What I didn't figure on was that since the tub has been refinished twice, technically, the finish is no longer porcelain. It actually did work to a slight extent but nothing near what I was hoping for.
I think your product is an awesome concept and I have no doubt that it does work in the ways that you state. I wish you all the luck in the world with it. I will recommend it to my friends.

Test a spare tile and time the solution to see if it has achieved the effect you are wanting to achieve.. We tested it on 3 different spare tiles to get the timing right for our shower floor. The first time, the solution was left on too long and the color of the tile was greatly diminished. So do your testing.
After we got the timing right, It worked great!

The product arrived in a timely manner, actually sooner than I expected. Although the application process was somewhat different from a previous product I had used it was quick and simple to apply. The results were starting to show as I was applying the product. Now the shower is much safer to use, less danger of slipping.

I was skeptical at first but after trying this product, I am very pleased with the results. Even on the dry tiles, I have a non slip feel and of course, when its wet, there is no way I can slip on it. It is an amazing product and it still kept my tiles looking as they were. Johnny Grip is fabulous! We just put in a new tile shower and I was worried about slipping because I have a muscle disorder. (I had ordered another product at more than twice the price of JG, but was concerned about the cautions because it was an acid so I ordered Johnny Grip.) I applied the product with an ordinary sponge mop and kept it wet by passing the mop over it every five minutes. I flushed the shower floor with water after 30 minutes.
I used the shower for the first time this morning. I am so impressed with the results...the traction is awesome! My husband hates those rubber bathmats we've had to use for years so he thanks you as well. Johnny Grip is so easy to use that I'm going to apply it to the bathtub to keep our grandchildren safe.

I was alittle dissapointed,I read they ship out the same day if you order before 5pm. I ordered in the am on Feb 18th, it was shipped Feb 22nd. arrived Feb 25th. " The product was on back order at the time" Also the instructions for the shower were not very specific (I called & they were very helpful) The video showed put it on mop it off. You have to move Johnny Grip every 5mins for 20mins. All that aside;It worked, I can finally step in the shower & not have to hold on in fear of slipping.Thank You.. singing in the shower.

Our tiles were slick as ice when wet, and we looked at several different options. Johnny Grip seemed to be the most cost-effective, since it didn't require reapplying every few years. When we applied it, we kept it on for about 30-40 minutes instead of the recommended 15 minutes, due to the comments on your 'testimonial' pages. After rinsing it off, we were a bit concerned because the tiles didn't appear to be any different than they were before the application. But we were VERY pleasantly surprised to find that the tiles aren't the least bit slippery, no matter how wet they are. This stuff seems to be absolutely everything that you promised. However, I will agree with most of the comments I read. Leave it on for more like 30 minutes. It seems to work much better if you do.

Well it wasn't our idea to put indoor tiles outside on our front walk but that's exactly what the previous owners of our home did! To make matters worse, we live on a barrier island here in Florida and the high humidity often left the tiles slick and slippery even if it wasn't raining. We had pretty much agreed on the sledge hammer solution until I saw Johnny Grip and decided to give it a try. WOW. I thought there would be a catch but it was really easy and fast, we were all done with the project in 30 minutes and the results were more than we could have hoped for. The tiles are not in any way discolored and they are no longer slippery. I am going to use it again on some tiles in the room off of our pool.

I recently used Johnny Grip on some porcelain tile on the porch and steps at the front of our house. They were a menace when wet, and it was a matter of time before someone took a header down those stairs!!! After using Johnny grip (which really is as easy to use as they say it is!) the tiles are now non-slip. I was sort of surprised, because the physical appearance of the tile was unchanged. I was expecting them to be non-slip, but duller or something. That was not the case. When I compared the installed tile treated with the Johnny Grip to a spare tile from the box I couldn't tell the difference! Now I feel better about my wife and kids and guests coming and going when the tiles are wet.

About two years ago we put in a tiled patio area which connects to a path to our sailboat and kayaks, salt water. The short of it, was, the tile was like ice when wet and when we were barefoot or had on the wrong shoes and we almost lost myself and a few friends. Treated the area about a month ago, removed the outdoor carpet which was glued down to prevent falls, and now we walk directly on the tile, in rain and with salt water on our feet without slippage, so far we are impressed. We have some left and we plan to treat the hall in the home, as I had a bad spill there while, walking in from the ocean to get into the shower, salt water again. Brad

Being a natural born skeptic I had an uneasy feeling about spending almost forty bucks on a pint of magic elixir that promised to make my bathtub less slippery, and was prepared to fight tooth and nail for my money back when it didn't work.
I now have to say that my faith in magic elixirs has been improved dramatically. Taking a shower in my bathtub was like ice scatting, but after one application of your product, per directions, that is one problem I no longer need concern myself with.

When me and my wife were looking for some kind of item we could put down in our shower. We had searched at Home Depot and several other hardware stores, and just continued to go thru the rubber mats that you put on the tile. We looked on the internet and googled different products and my wife found the web-site for Johnny grip. We read the previous reviews and I admit I was very apprehensive about the reviews that I read. We ordered a bottle and followed the directions, and I am very surprised at the results. My only complaint is that I did not leave it on longer like the directions said and get the shower floor to have a little more grip. IT REALLY WORKS! I have - uh, had - very slippery tile on my front porch. Just a poor choice of tile by the builder. It rained on Halloween and I had to greet the kids at the steps out of fear one of them would slip and fall. That was the final straw. So then I went to two Home Depots and two Lowe's. All said there was no such product that would fix the problem. Two floor and tile companies offered no suggestions. Then I found Johnny Grip. A product only sold on the internet. That made me suspicious but I decided to risk the $80. And I am glad I did! The product was delivered on time (about 2 days). And in about 45 minutes a three year old problem was solved. Product exceeded expectations. Shower tiles were such that they would have put a skating rink to shame and my wife and I had almost fallen several times. After application of Johnny Grip, I feel ilke I can pirouette blindfolded under a strong stream of water and still not worry about falling. The tiles look unchaged to the naked eye and I notice no difference in traction walking across them when they are dry. The product is not cheap, but I woud rather put out $39.95 than pay to have multiple handles, grip bars, floor mats, tile tape, etc. on the shower walls and floor. Thanks guys!

Works great. I have tile on my front porch and it was very slippery when it rains. The Johnny grip was easy to use and the tiles are not slippery anymore. Erwin Health Care Center is a 125 bed nursing facility in a rural area. The building has a country theme, but has a rustic tile floor with uneven surfaces. Many products have been used in attempt to clean the ceramic finish. Some do clean but have a slick residue which is unsafe for our residents. I purchased a restaurant in january of this year and immediately started renovations to the bar and lounge area. We put down what we thought was the perfect tile to match the decor, but we didn't look close enough that the surface was very smooth. After many hours of labor the floor was done and looked great ! We opened the restaurant a few weeks later and soon discovered that even one drop of water on this floor made it slippery beyond belief ! Bought this product to treat a VERY slippery porcelain tub. My kids had slipped several times - even with a suction cup bath mat. The mat kept sliding due to the presence of soap under the mat, even though we rinsed it after each use. Followed the directions that came with Johnny Grip, treating the bottom and part way up the sides of the tub. Left it on for 20 minutes, wiping occassionally to keep it wet per the directions. Rinsed it off and initially didn't feel much difference with my hand, but with bare feet on the wet porcelain I felt like Spiderman compared to how it was before. Added soap to the tub and still was non-skid. Excellent product. Note that for my tub, the product did cause a very slight loss of sheen, but it isn't anything approaching dull and none except you will notice it. Very satisfied with this product and would recommend to others for treating tubs.

We bought a house with a glossy ceramic tile floor in the kitchen/den and 3 baths. My husband slipped on this floor in January and broke his hip.
